Synopsis
In 1932, James Gralton returns to his native farm in rural Ireland after a decade in the United States. Once known for his involvement with Irish Republican causes, he now aspires to a quiet life and reopens the dance hall he'd previously owned. The space becomes a much-needed community center where young people can dance and classes are taught. But it also becomes a place where social opposition movements begin to take room, which garners for Gralton the unwelcome attention of the local leaders.
