Performance artists Caleb and Camille Fang regard art as the most important thing in life, taking precedence over even their children, Annie and Buster, also known as Child A. and Child B. The kids grudgingly participate in their parents' offbeat artistic endeavors, making art truly a family affair for the Fangs. Many years later, however, as adults whose lives are in disarray, Annie and Buster return home in hopes of finding solace, and they find themselves roped into one last grand-hurrah family performance.
