Synopsis
Bette Davis is a widow whose doctor has diagnosed her as senile, the courts have deemed incompetent, and her son wants placed in a nursing home. With the loving support of her granddaughter, the help of a young lawyer who agrees to represent her, and the new-found love for an old friend (Keenan Wynn), she makes a determined effort to regain control of her life and her estate.
