Synopsis
This biopic of celebrated British painter Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) focuses on the last 25 years of the cantankerous artist's life as his work becomes increasingly anti-establishment - making him a subject of ridicule among art world peers - in his passion to translate light and atmosphere to canvas.
