Jean (Jackie Saunders) is a flower girl and assistant to an old grower. Her sweetheart, Owen, would marry her if she wasn't so flighty. When the grower dies, she is adopted by a wealthy, childless couple. But a life in society is too staid and boring for her, so she dresses up in boy's clothes and runs away to a Gypsy camp. She's perfectly happy there until the son of the Gypsy thief tries to have his way with her. Owen and her adoptive parents show up just in time to save her. After that she finally settles down to life with Owen.
