In a combination of animated drawings, and color and black-and-white sequences, author, cartoonist, director, and co-writer Mauricio de Sousa has brought his popular Brazilian comic strip character, "Monica" to the screen. Monica is accompanied by Cascao, Magali, Cebolinha, and other cartoon friends and together they make their way through four different adventures, told in sequence.
