Synopsis
Early one morning in 1981, an unhappy Rose Cleardon leaves her husband Thomas without telling him that she is two months pregnant with their child. Confused and guilt ridden, Rose seeks solace at her church where a priest suggests she take refuge at St. Genevieve's home for unwed mothers in Kentucky. Rose arrives at St. Genevieve's and is taken under the protective wing of Sister Evangeline. While at the home, Rose falls in love with Son, the handsome caretaker, and together they raise her daughter Cecilia. Years later, Rose's past catches up to her and she is forced to face up to her lies before her family is torn apart. A legend about a mysterious woman named June Clatterbuck teaches Rose about second chances.
