Synopsis
The documentary explores the far-reaching effects of the 1952 McCarran Walter Act which barred 250,000 foreigners from entering the United States on political grounds, and was repealed in 1991. The filmmakers interviewed people in twelve countries as to why they had been denied U.S. visas, and cultural and political figures who are asked about this legacy of the Cold War.
