This video, part of the Awesome children's video series, takes kids on a ride through the history of airplanes. Children will go back in time to learn about the Wright brothers first flight and find out some basic scientific principles that keep planes up in the air. They will see how planes changed over time, becoming more and more sophisticated with the advent of more intelligent technology. Then, this video takes kids to an airport, where they get to tour a 747 jet plane and a smaller propeller plane. Howard, the guide for this video, also gives a tour of the Planes of Fame Air Museum at the Chino Airport in California where kids will see World War II fighter jets and other historical aircraft.
