This video, part of the Awesome children's video series, takes kids for a thrilling look at the world of carnival and amusement park rides. Children will learn about the history of rides, including a view of the first Ferris Wheel, built in 1893, and information about famous and historical amusement parks, including New York's Coney Island. Then, the video shows children a variety of rides available today, mostly focusing on roller coasters and carnival rides. The roller coasters featured take the rider through twists and turns that head every which way.
