This video, part of the Awesome children's video series, takes kids into the world of building construction. The early stages of building development are covered on this video, with children learning about everything from planning to laying the foundation to the actual building of some extremely tall buildings. Children will watch a construction crew work on erecting a skyscraper, getting up-close to all of the equipment needed to perform such a demanding task, including massive cranes, cement trucks, earth movers, and more. Also, construction workers talk about their experiences with working on high-rise structures, which involve much more precise labor than with other, smaller buildings.
