Synopsis
A fashion doll comes to life and changes the lives of a widower and his 12-year-old daughter. After the death of her mother, Casey finds she is drifting away from her father Ben. When she finds a book of spells, Casey becomes obsessed with bringing her mother back to life. Through a series of mishaps, the "Eve" doll that Casey received for her birthday is brought to life instead. Eve loves her first experience of human senses, but eventually finds real life increasinly perplexing and everything she tries to do as a human seems to go wrong. With the deadline for reversing the spell drawing close, Eve must make her decision about returning to the doll world or stay where she is loved. The arrival of Eve brings love and life back into their home, and Casey and her father find renewed hope for the future.
