Synopsis
A&E's America's Castles series offers an insider's look at the palatial residences of the nation's privileged. Rocky Mountain visits lavish homes constructed from the wealth of Colorado's early fur, gold, and coal trade. Visit three high-country palaces which illustrate the glorious dreams and fabulous fortune of their founders. The film includes a tour of Redstone Castle, a Tudor Revival estate built by John C. Osgood. Viewers explore the opulent 67-room Glen Eyrie constructed by the founder of Colorado Springs and the magnificent Molly Brown House, a Victorian manor owned by the socialite and Titanic survivor whose wealth was made from Colorado gold. Rocky Mountain also showcases the stunning art, antiques, and furnishings displayed at these royal American residences.
