Synopsis
The two-reel A Bold Impersonation was designed to introduce actress Olga Grey to the silver screen. Favorably compared by many to popular film personality Kathlyn Williams (star of The Adventures of Kathlyn, the screen's first serial), Grey acquitted herself quite nicely in this lightweight tale of mistaken identity. The actress was afforded the opportunity not only to emote, but also to fence, swim, and ride a horse. The film's highlight finds the heroine and her faithful steed diving off a high pier, a stunt apparently performed without doubles. Alas, Olga Grey never quite reached the heights attained by her "role model" Kathlyn Williams.
