Broke and out of work, a young father wonders how he will be able to provide for his family. Feeling sorry for her daddy, the hero's little daughter writes a letter to God, begging for help. The letter is deposited in a mail box, where it is discovered by a compassionate man of wealth. Pulling a few strings, the prosperous gentleman sees to it that the little girl's written prayers are answered. The film ends as the now-happy father goes to work as his benefactor's gardener. A Child's Prayer was produced and released by Pathe.
