A man discovers a world where women rule the roost in this fantasy drama from Uzbekistan based on a folk tale of the region. Olim is an author who is researching the life of Ismail, a spiritualist who claims to be able to heal people through the power of faith. When Olim hears that Ismail is ailing, he sets out to find Zeba, the healer's wife, but his search leads him to a primitive yet beautiful encampment called "Women's Paradise," to which most of the women from the surrounding cities have escaped -- including Olim's wife and lover. As Olim explores the strange but blissful world of the women, he finds that the citizens of the camp have been fortifying themselves with the root of a strange tree that heals and strengthens women -- and makes men deathly ill. Ayollar Saltanaty stars Bakhtier Zakirov, Mokhira Nurmetova, and Fatykh Jalolov.
