Prolific Greek director Kostas Karayiannis' better-than-average variation on the standard police mystery stars Andreas Filippidis as an officer investigating the kidnapping of a small child. During the course of his inquiries, he finds that each of the suspects is hiding something, and many of them are leading double lives. Eventually, the trail leads the dedicated policeman back to the child's mother (Gelly Mavropoulou), who is being victimized by a clever and ruthless ex-lover (Stefanos Stratigos). Anestis Vlachos co-stars with Vangelis Kazan and Titos Vandis (who later appeared in a film about a different kind of child abduction, The Exorcist).
