Greek filmmaker Yiannis Hartomatzidis directed this contrived story of mistaken identity and botched kidnapping. When his boss dies, company manager Stathis (Stathis Psaltis) marries the boss' daughter (Katy Finou), but finds that the road to the top is not as easy as he had suspected. His mother-in-law (Vera Proedrou) also wants to run the company and demotes Stathis to keep him out of her way. Incensed, Stathis concocts a plot to have her kidnapped during a dinner party at their villa. Unfortunately for Stathis, the kidnappers he has hired abduct him by mistake, and his mother-in-law refuses to pay the ransom. The rest of the film concerns Stathis' efforts to convince his captors that he was the originator of the plan so that they will release him and kidnap his mother-in-law. Kostas Makedos and Marina Haritou co-star.
