Arriving suddenly in a small town, homeless waif Momo is befriended by the local children and given shelter in an abandoned amphitheater. Soon after she's settled, however, the town is disturbed by the arrival of a fleet of slick businessmen, called the Gray Men. These greedy tricksters convince the people of the village that time is money, much too valuable to be spent on love and friendship. Enchanted by their flashy ways, the villagers get caught up in the Gray Men's ploy, saving all their time in a 'time bank' and working away without rest. Desperate to stop the Gray Men, Momo looks to the supernatural Time Master for help. He tells Momo that only she can stop the Gray Men from stealing everyone's time. And so, Momo must face up to the villains, before it's too late!
