Originally produced for television, Abba: The Winner Takes It All consists of archival footage, interviews with band members, and rehearsal footage form the stage musical Mama Mia to paint a portrait of one of the most successful pop bands in history. The DVD release of the documentary contains thirty minutes of footage not aired during the original television broadcast.
