Television movie based on the characters from the MTV animated series "Daria." Daria and friends go through the college application blues. Daria and her boyfriend, Tom, are both applying to the same school with Daria relying on her grades to get her in, while Tom is using his old-boy-network family connections. Her best friend, Jane, is on the brink of deciding not to apply to schools and staying at home with her older brother Trent to nurture her artistic abilities. Class president Jodie is under extreme parental pressure to attend a prestigious Ivy League school. Jodie's boyfriend, Mack, is worried about getting a scholarship from his college. Finally, in the middle of all their college woes, Daria's sister, Quinn, is forced to get a job to pay for her fashion habit.
