Comedic drama which focuses on the debate over the controversial "Parental Advisory" labels put on albums by the Parent Music Resource Center in the mid-1980s. Slick Senator Charlie Burner is looking to pass a blank-tape tax bill and land a bigger office on Capitol Hill, until he gets wind of a group of mothers, led by senator wife Tipper Gore, who he realizes will singlehandedly kill his own agenda in their efforts to protect the music-listening habits of children. In a desperate move, Burner secures the presence of rockers Twisted Sister, Frank Zappa, and folk crooner John Denver to defend the parameters of first amendment rights against the PMRC and Washington.
