As a Catholic girl growing up in America's heartland, Rose Thering's religion books taught that Jesus was killed by the Jews. When she joined the sisterhood, Sister Rose began to examine why, in her religion, there had been so few who had responded to the Jewish plight during the Holocaust. Sister Rose challenged the doctrine blaming Jews for the death of Jesus and took a leading role in Vatican II that officially changed the church's relationship to Jews. This timely portrait follows Sister Rose today who, at 84 years old, continues her vociferous fight against anti-Semitism.
