Three twenty-something suburban guys accidentally kill a man who turns out to be a government mob informant. Deciding they should earn the mob reward for killing the turncoat, they immerse themselves in gangster movies to learn as much as possible about the underworld. Once satisfactorily immersed in the ways of the mob, they successfully pass themselves off as hitmen and take home the bounty. With their new found money, they decide to make a movie about their experience.
