Synopsis
An aspiring journalist in Washington, D.C., Katherine has spent the past 10 years trying to forget the catastrophic drowning that she and her estranged friends covered up as high school seniors. Assigned to cover the town's annual Mothman Festival, Katherine has no choice but to return to the town she escaped, where she is reunited with her old friends. While in town, Katherine is plagued by stories of horrific sightings - a creature known as Mothman. Soon enough, Katherine and her friends find out that these stories are no mere fairy tale and the Mothman has awoken to exact vengeance on them.
