Synopsis

Struggling vaudeville comic Kip Cooper is tired of toiling in second-rate clubs for apathetic audiences, but he thinks he's got the ticket to Broadway stardom: stealing successful performers' material. When the famous Eddy Eagen falls ill, Cooper seizes the opportunity to fill in for him. Luckily, he already knows Eagen's act, but his commitment to the show -- and to his pretty dance partner -- causes trouble between Cooper and his fiancée, Fay.
