Amazing Spider-Man fans at Comic-Con are in for a treat on Friday, according to a new teaser. The short clip introduces Spidey’s nemesis, Electro, who will be played by a blue-skinned Jamie Foxx in next year’s sequel. We see Electro, who obtained his powers after being stuck by lightning, hooked up to a device.
“I can feel it in the walls, I feel in my veins,” he says ominously. “You want to know how powerful I am? Well, I want to know too.”
The electrifying villain will be featured at Friday’s Amazing Spider-Man 2 panel, which will most likely include some more new clips. Meanwhile, the movie itself won’t be in theaters until May 2, 2014.
