It looks like Justin Timberlake is going to be pretty busy this summer. In addition to finally tying the knot with Jessica Biel, he’ll start work on the thriller Runner, Runner, which will co-star Ben Affleck.
The film focuses on online gambling and will be directed by Brad Furman, who also helmed The Lincoln Lawyer. Screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levienare also penned Rounders, the 1998 film about high-stakes back room poker, so they’re no strangers to the world of gambling. The same goes for Ben Affleck, though that may not be a good thing. The role is likely to remind people of the gambling addiction rumors that have plagued him for years.
