Bill Murray is a comedic legend, so do we really need an excuse to write about one of the funniest men in cinema? Here are the career-best from the man who basically turned “irascible” into an art form.
Do I really need to say anything? It’s Ghostbusters. Come on.
Good golf comedies may be thin on the ground (there’s this and… maybe Happy Gilmore?), but that may be because most of them don’t have Murray as a greenskeeper waging war on a gopher infestation, which is an obvious omission.
Murray may only have a few minutes of screentime here, but he really makes them count, delivering one of cinema’s finest cameo appearances.
Remaking The Jungle Book in live-action was, on the surface at least, a terrible idea. But somehow this film pulled it off, and it’s in no small part thanks to Murray’s bumbling, mumbling, melodic Baloo.
