Bill Paxton to Direct ‘Kung Fu’ Adaptation?

ALTActor Bill Paxton is in talks to direct Kung Fu, the big-screen adaptation of the 1972 TV series that starred the late David Carradine.

Although Paxton is much more well known for his work in fron of the camera, he has directed before — including 2005’s The Greatest Game Ever Played and 2001’s Frailty.

Paxton, who played the lead role on HBO’s recently concluded Big Love, hasn’t done any big-screen work since the 2007 indie dramedy The Good Life.
