At least four women were held in Los Angeles on Thursday (22Oct09) on suspicion of involvement with the break-ins at Lohan and Patridge’s homes, reports TMZ.com.
The Mean Girls actress’ house was broken into in August (09), while The Hills star’s property was targeted in a similar crime in February (09).
Two of the people arrested have been identified as 18-year-old Courtney Ames and 19-year-old Diana Tamayo – and police sources tell TMZ.com they believe the pair was also involved in the Bloom and Bilson burglaries.
A third arrested woman – 19-year-old Rachel J. Lee – is also under investigation for a $2 million (£1.3 million) jewellery heist at Paris Hilton’s property in 2008, according to People.com.
Bail for both Ames and Tamayo has been set at $50,000 (£33,333).
