Latin boy band Anima has broken fans’ hearts by announcing its split.
The group’s future was thrown into doubt earlier this month (Jan16) after Georgie Castro declared he was leaving to go solo, and now remaining members J.D. Aponte, Joel Carrero, and Waldy Martinez have decided to call it quits too after almost 10 years together, reports LatinGossip.com.
Puerto Rican singer/actress Ednita Nazario, who represented Anima via her talent management firm, has confirmed the news in a statement, revealing the other singers will be evaluating their new career directions “in the coming months”.
