Brad Pitt Is on the Hunt for Answers in New ‘World War Z’ Clip

On the heels of Man of Steel‘s success comes another one of this summer’s most highly anticipated blockbusters. Brad Pitt’s apocalypse movie World War Z hits theaters this Friday. As the release date approaches, Paramount Pictures has unveiled another new clip from the film.

Pitt plays Gerry Lane, a former UN employee who travels the world in search of a way to stop the catastrophic zombie pandemic that is destroying society. In the clip, we see Gerry Lane on a plane headed for South Korea with Dr. Fassbach (Elyes Gabel). The latter is a brilliant scientist looking for Patient Zero, who may hold the key to finding a cure for the outbreak. Lane turns to his fellow passenger, asking, “Think we’re gonna find anything?”, to which Fassbach responds, “Yeah. We’re gonna find something.” Ominous!

Much like the trailers for World War Z, the clip ends without giving us much more than some small hints of zombies and a whole lot of suspense. But really, at this point, we all know what the Z stands for, and still we have yet to get very much up-close footage of any zombies. What’s that about?
