Pierce Brosnan is planning to reprise his role as a high-class art thief in a sequel to 1999 thriller The Thomas Crown Affair.
Brosnan played a cat-and-mouse game with an investigator played by Rene Russo in the movie, a remake of a 1968 film starring Steve McQueen.
More than a decade on, Brosnan reveals that a screenplay has been written for a follow-up, and he’s weighing a deal with studio bosses.

The former 007 star tells Moviefone.com, “We have a script and a structure that is good and I hope we can do it, but it’s not a definite.”
