Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is in talks to join the cast of Bomb, a ’60s-set drama centering around the campaign to oppose nuclear proliferation, London’s Daily Mail reports. The film, from director Sally Potter and producer Christopher Sheppard, will star Elle Fanning and Alice Englart as teenagers who become involved in the nascent “Ban the Bomb” movement. Presumably, they will also undergo broader philosophical changes in addition to some sort of sexual awakening, as were the customs of the time.
Bomb is set to begin shooting in London in February of 2012.
