‘Curious George’ Co-Creator Dies in Florida

The co-creator of the Curious George cartoons has died in Florida just days before the feature film version of his TV show hits cinemas.

Alan Shalleck, 76, was found dead outside his home on Tuesday. Police are treating the death as a possible homicide.

His bloody body had been wrapped in garbage bags and dumped in the driveway of his mobile home, where it was left for a day before an electrician discovered it.
