Danser le printemps à l'automne | 2012
Twenty retired men and women from Marseille find themselves in Paris' most prestigious contemporary dance theater. Nurses, housewives, teachers and doctors, aged between 60 and 87 years old and without any dance experience, perform Stravinsky's masterpiece "The Rite of Spring". The fruit of seven years collaboration with the groundbreaking choreographer Thierry Thieû Niang, the show has been acclaimed throughout France. Here, we observe how the project enriched the lives of the participants, liberated them and rekindled their belief in themselves.
