Did You Know These 7 Characters Were Voiced by Luke Skywalker?

Although Mark Hamill is probably best known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films, he has also made quite the career for himself in the voice acting industry. Hamill first started voice acting in the 1970s and has since voiced numerous characters in cartoons, movies, and video games. However, it’s often difficult to tell if a character is voiced by him without knowing beforehand. How many of these characters did you know were voiced by a Jedi?

1. The Joker

Hamill has played The Clown Prince of Crime in Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League. Often working opposite of Kevin Conroy (voice actor of Bruce Wayne/Batman, Hamill has been known to stand up when recording the voice of the Joker to deliver a better performance.

2. Fire Lord Ozai

Ruler of the Fire Nation and the main antagonist of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Fire Lord Ozai plans to conquer the other nations in hopes of spreading his fiery glory. 

3. The Trickster

A small time villain of the Flash, the Trickster makes a few appearances on Justice League Unlimited. He is known for using ‘gag’ weapons that are often comedic and silly. Hamill also played the Trickster in the early ’90s on The Flash and currently portrays the character on the The CW television show.

4. Solomon Grundy

Solomon Grundy used to be a 1920s criminal named Cyprus Gold from Gotham City until he returned as an undead zombie with unholy strength. He makes appearances in both Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

5. The Hobgoblin

Appearing in the 1994 animated series Spider-Man, the Hobgoblin is known for flying around his trademark glider and throwing explosive jack-o’-lantern bombs.

6. Lawrence “Larry” 3000

From the animated series Time Squad, Larry 3000 is a sophisticated, sensitive, and well-mannered robot. Along with his partners Buck Tuddrussel and Otto Osworth, he travels through time to make sure history remains unharmed.

Captain Stickybeard is one of the villains of the animated series Codename: Kids Next Door. His main motivation for crime is candy and his plans often involve plundering sweets from children.
