Late September: that time of year when everybody high tails it out of town to head off on a glorious week’s vacation! Well, I guess that’s generally more a summer/winter/any-other-month-but-September thing, but don’t let social norms define you. If you are intending to head off on a getaway anytime soon, be warned: not all hotels live up to their fancy brochures.
The new release Hotel Transylvania reminds us that some inns, motels, hostels, lodges, bed-and-breakfasts aren’t optimal choices for getaway residences. In fact, most of the time when you happen upon a hotel in a movie, you’re in for an unpleasant stay. Whether they be haunted or run by malicious psychopaths, there’s going to be something more troubling than just a filthy comforter.
