Dogman picks up two technical prizes ahead of European Film Awards

Critically-acclaimed drama Dogman has won two early prizes ahead of the 2018 European Film Awards.
The movie, which has been selected as Italy’s entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 2019 Oscars, has been honoured with European Costume Designer for Massimo Cantini Parrini, and European Hair & Make-Up Artist for Dalia Colli, Lorenzo Tamburini, and Daniela Tartari.
The accolades were announced by European Film Academy officials following a vote by an eight-strong jury in Berlin, Germany, where the winners for eight technical awards were decided.
Meanwhile, among the other prizes, Martin Otterbeck was named European Cinematographer for Utøya: July 22, Cold War’s Jarosław Kaminski claimed European Editor, European Production Designer went to Andrey Ponkratov for The Summer, and European Visual Effects Supervisor went to Peter Hjorth for Border, reports Deadline.com.
The 31st European Film Awards will take place in Seville, Spain on 15 December (18).
Pawel Pawlikowski’s romance drama Cold War leads the nominees, picking up nods including Best Director, and Best Film.
