I was beginning to think I had wandered into some sort of Twilight Zone. We’d almost made it through two days this week without hearing any more news about The Hunger Games. Luckily, this casting news came up, so we can once again go back to our normal activities.
Donald Sutherland just landed the role of President Snow, one of the last few big parts remaining to be cast. Now, does he fit? Hell yeah, he does. Snow is evil, evil, evil, evil and Sutherland can and will bring a vicious sting to the part. It’s too bad we’ll have to wait until the second and third books to really see him in action, but his casting already has me more excited for the sequels.
