Dylan McDermott Joins ‘Nobody Walks,’ ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower’

Dylan McDermottDylan McDermott is a busy dude. Despite just signing onto an FX pilot called American Horror Story, the former Practice star just signed on for two feature films: Nobody Walks and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, according to Variety.

The former, written by Lena Dunham and Ry Russo Young (who will also direct), centers on a Los Angeles family that takes in a stranger who ends up “disrupting their lives.” Nobody Walks already features John Krasinski, Olivia Thirlby and Jane Levy in its cast. Meanwhile, Wallflower is a quieter, coming-of-age tale adapted and to-be-directed by Stephen Chbosky (also, the author of the novel) following a boy named Charlie through his freshman year of high school and the dramatic developments that occur.

The two projects both sound like good choices for McDermott, especially for a guy who will be (probably) forever type-cast as a lawyer; well, except for that time he chased flying cows through my home state.
