Let’s go back in time to 2004’s Incredibles.
The Incredibles cannot be superheroes and Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) wants to relive his glory days. He leaves his wife Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) behind with the kids and tries to get back into his super suit where he finds out he does kind of need his family.
2018’s ‘Incredibles 2’ follows a similar format. Except for a little bit different. Superheroes aren’t popular (HA) and Winston Deavor (Bob Odenkirk) wants to change that. Elastigirl is given a job to bring superheroes back to popularity. She gets all the coolest and best superhero stuff and leaves Mr. Incredible in the dust to take care of the kids. This is pretty tough with Dash (Huck Milner) being a wild 12-year-old, Violet (Sarah Vowell) being a teenager, and the baby Jak Jak discovering his many superpowers.
There’s also a mysterious supervillain in the Screensaver
Incredibles 2′ releases June 15, 2018.
