A TV series inspired by The Wizard Of Oz has been cancelled before its debut. Emerald City was ordered straight-to-series in January (14), but creative differences with producers have led bosses at NBC in the U.S. to shelve the project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The news comes one month after the show was promoted at Comic-Con in San Diego, California (14).
The series, which was based on the books by L. Frank Baum and featured beloved character Dorothy Gale, will likely be offered to other networks.
