A U.S. Marine who appeared in Michael Moore‘s award-winning documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 has been killed in Iraq.
Sergeant Raymond J. Plouhar, 30, died in a roadside bombing in Iraq’s Anbar province on Monday.
Plouhar appeared in the 2004 movie attempting to recruit young men in a Flint, Michigan, shopping mall parking lot.

Plouhar’s father Raymond said his son did not realize Moore‘s movie was critical of the war.
