Hey, Hollywooders. It’s time to find out what’s Good in the ‘Wood! DC released the new trailer for their upcoming movie The Suicide Squad on Tuesday, and fans online are freaking out.
The Suicide Squad is the sequel to the 2016 film Suicide Squad. Directed by James Gunn, the new movie follows a task force of criminals as they are sent to South America to destroy a Nazi-era prison and laboratory that is experimenting on its prisoners.
The new trailer previews the intense action sequences that audiences can expect from the film as well as the emotional storyline that will be depicted. The trailer also features a new song by grandson and Jessie Reyez titled “Rain.”
The Suicide Squad stars Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Viola Davis, and Pete Davidson.

The Suicide Squad will be released in theaters on August 6 and will stream exclusively on HBO Max.
