Fast & Furious franchise fuels up for two more movies

The Fast & Furious franchise has just found more fuel and added an 11th movie to the proposed 10.

Dwayne Johnson is back too

Deadline sources have revealed Universal Pictures bosses are planning to wrap up the film series with two more movies after the upcoming ninth film, which will hit theaters next year (2021).

Justin Lin, who is completing the edit for the new film, will also direct the final two movies.
The series, which began in 2001, has grossed $5.7 billion, becoming Universal’s most successful franchise.

Paul Walker’s Brother joins the franchise

Charlize Theron, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Cardi B, and Reggaeton sensation Ozuna will join regulars like Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez for F9, which will open in theaters in May (2021).
