Fat Angels | 1979
A New York pianist who is quite obese becomes the pen-pal of a woman in Florida who is also overweight. They exchange pictures, but each sends a photo of a thinner person. Over time, their letters become more inimate, and they decide that they should meet in New York. When the woman arrives in the city, she feels so embarrassed about her appearance that she cannot bring herself to see him, and since he feelsl the same way about himself, the two attempt to "see" each other without being seen.
