First Look at New Bullock and McCarthy Comedy — VIDEO

What do you get when you mix one comedic genius gal from Bridesmaids and mix it with the hilarious hijinks from The Hangover? The upcoming comedy, The Heat, starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. Need we say more? Yes? Okay, here you go.

The two funny ladies are teaming up for an upcoming comedy where they will play partners on the police force working together to take down a drug lord. Bullock will play good cop (similar to her role in 2000’s Miss Congeniality), while McCarthy takes on the bad cop role (in bad hair and makeup, a la her character in Bridesmaids, 2011). Parks & Recreation’s Katie Dippold wrote the script, and Bridesmaids’ Paul Feig will be directing.

The Heat opens April 5, 2013. Check out the trailer and tell us if you plan to see it in the comments section below.
