Floodstage | 1985
A celebration of the Otrabanda Company, based on their experiences. For ten years, the group of players traveled down the Mississippi river each summer on a raft from St. Louis to New Orleans. On the way, the troupe performed their eclectic, unique style of commedia dell-arte street theater for the river communities they passed. The program included Punch and Judy shows, country-and-western, and rock music, as well as dancing and burlesque sketches.
